I’ve had a string of new companions this week. Last Thursday, Elder Arias arrived. He’s a service missionary who is about to complete his mission. He’s spent most of the previous 2 years living with his family in Jujuy. Until now, his service has consisted mostly of helping members with their family history, but he’s helping us as a teaching missionary until this upcoming Thursday, so he will have been with me for a week in total.

The regular companion also changed. Elder Hughes left for a town in Northern Salta, and Elder Grow from Sandy, Utah, is my new companion here in downtown Salta.

Our friend Lucio got baptized on Saturday! Almost 30 members of his family came to his baptismal service to support him. It was a super special moment for everyone there.

Also, a family gave us goat cheese, honey, and walnuts as dessert for lunch one day. I think I might have a new favorite treat.

Have a great week!

Elder Hansen
