It’s been incredibly hot. Most afternoons this week were over 113 degrees. I did my laundry one morning and hung my soaking wet clothes outside to dry at 8. They were dry by 10:30 when we left our house for the day. That’s pretty hot.
Summer is also the rainy season here. The rule of thumb is that the hotter the day is, the more it’s going to rain at night. Friday night, we were about 30 minutes from our house when it started dumping rain. We were already completely soaked, so we weren’t in a huge rush to make it back to our house. We ended up having a great lesson about the blessings of the temple with a lady who is coming back to church after a couple of years of inactivity. By the time we left, most of the roads were flooded up to our ankles. We had to cross one road that had water up to our knees.
We have a loving Heavenly Father who cares about every single one of us deeply. When we ask sincerely ask for the Lord’s help, being willing to put forth the effort to achieve it, we can achieve anything. Jesus loves you!

I’m sorry for not having great photos of anything. They’re all on my companion’s phone and all missionary Google accounts are having problems sharing right now. I’ll share them when I can.
