This week was super crazy. I started off in Tartagal, finishing of my time with Elder Barney before getting on a bus to San Salvador, the capital of Jujuy province.

I arrived and started learning how to be a zone leader with my companion Elder Eyre in Palpalá. Being zone leaders means that we are responsible for our teaching area and those of the 14 other companionships in the province. It feels like we basically just go to a couple of extra meetings during the week and make some slideshows.

On Thursday we got a surprise phone call saying that we needed to switch apartments and teaching areas with some sister missionaries by that afternoon. We ran back home, packed up all of our stuff, cleaned the apartment for about 5 hours, then piled ourselves and all of our stuff into taxis to head to our new apartment. The suddenness of the change led to a lot of little problems with everyone having access to the right Google and WhatsApp accounts, but after some headaches we got it all figured out.

So now I’m working in an area called Ciudad de Nieva, which is “Snow City” if you didn’t feel like googling it. I don’t know how much snow there will be, but it’s the downtown area of the provincal capital, so it’s about as different from Tartagal as you can get.

It was a pretty stressful week, but I was constantly strengthened by the hand of the Lord. On the days that I was so exhausted I could barely get out of bed, He strengthened me and gave me the energy that I needed to do all of the things that He needed me to do. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” – Philippines 4:13.

I know that through Christ we can do all things because he loves us and cares about the details of our lives.
