This past week a group of 14 missionaries finished their missions andwent home. Starting at around 6pm on Sunday evening, we were picking them all up from the travel bus station and taking them and all of their stuff to the mission office. Some of the buses were super delayed, so we didn’t get home until 3am… Tuesday morning we woke up at 5am to help take all of their stuff to the airport in our truck. Needless to say, it was a little bit of a struggle to stay awake working on Excel spreadsheets in the office the next day.

On Sunday the new temple in Salta was dedicated by Elder Christofferson, one of the Twelve Apostles. When he was younger, he served his mission in this part of Argentina. There have been some cool Church News articles about him returning here to dedicate the temple. The articles have had some pictures that we’ve done our best
to replicate.

Now that the temple is dedicated, the people here have easier access to the temple to be able to make promises with God. During my mission I have come to understand my temple covenants at such a deeper level and I can’t wait to have an opportunity in the near future to be able to go and worship in the temple.

We got bored waiting to pick people up from the airport and were
trying to entertain ourselves a little.
Sending people home!
We went to a cool museum with some mummies today. We couldn’t take
pictures inside, but we had a fun lunch afterwards.
